Abstracts: The objective of the study was to analyze determinant factors
of stunting among under five years children. The study design was a
crossectional study. Research using secondary data Riskesdas 2007 with
total sampels 277 households that have under five years children in
Lombok Tengah District. The data collected include characteristics of
children, household’s socio economic, and environmental sanitation. The
Chi-Square test was applied to analyze the correlation of characteristics
of children and household’s socio economic with stunting. Logistic
regression analysis was used to analyze determinant factors of stunting.
The results showed that Prevalence of stunting in Lombok Tengah
District is 45.8%. Based on the logistic regression analysis, main risk
factors of stunting in this study area are infection disease (OR=0.266)
good enviromental sanitation (OR=0.301) and complete immunization
(OR=0.456).
