Abstracts: This study aims to determine the type of seed borne fungi that can cause disease in the seedling of rice, caused symptoms and intensity of their attacks. This research conducted at the Agriculture Technology Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, Gorontalo State University on August 2008. Pathogenicity test isolates fungus Rhizopus sp., Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp., Drechslera sp., and Alternaria sp. conduct by the sprouts infection method. Parameters observed are the types of fungi that cause symptoms, symptoms and intensity of fungal attack on seeds. The results showed that the fungus Fusarium sp., Drechslera sp., and Alternaria sp.showing symptoms of the disease in the nursery with the same kind are yellowing, wilting and death of rice seedlings. Alternaria diseases showed highest intensity followed by two others are respectively 20.0% and 13.33%.
