Produksi dan Kapasitas Tampung Rumput Mulato dan Kalopo pada Berbagai Tingkat Naungan dan Sistem Pertanaman

Abstracts: This research was aimed to: 1). knowing interaction shade levels
with cropping system to production, crude fibre, in vitro digestibility, and
carrying capacity mulato grass and kalopo, 2). knowing correct cropping system
at shade condition. Attempt taken is factorial with two factor, shade factor of
with three levels : without shade (0 %), shade of 25 % and shade of 50 %.
Cropping system factor with three levels : monoculture mulato, monoculture
kalopo and mixture cropping mulato-kalopo. Attempt use check device divided
(split plot design), shade factor placed as split plot and cropping system as sub
plot, using environmental device Block Randomized Design (BRD) with three
replicates. Result of research show interaction shade level with cropping system
of have an effects on reality to production, crude fibre, in vitro digestibility, and
the carrying capacity mulato grass and kalopo. Third of cropping system mulato
grass and kalopo experience of degradation production, carrying capacity along
with the increasing of shading, but improving quality of grasses at the height of
digesting of in vitro and down the crude fibres. Mixture cropping grass mulatokalopo
at shade condition to give result of dry matters, crude fibre, in vitro
digestibility of dry matters and organic matters and carrying capacity which
better than monoculture cropping.
