Analisis Peubah Sosial Ekonomi sebagai Faktor Risiko Kejadian Rawan Pangan

Abstract: The objective of the study was to analyze risk factors of food
insecurity. The study design was a crosectional study. Research
conducted in Bogor Districts (Sukamaju vilage) and Bogor municipality
(Sukaresmi vilage) in July2006 -January 2007. A systematic stratified
random sampling was applied to select 120 households. The data
collected include socio economi and, food intake. Quantitatively, a
person is categorized as food insecurity without hunger, if his/her TKE
<70%, and a person is categorized as food insecurity with hunger, if
his/her TKE <70% along with body weight loss. The Annova test was
applied to analyse mean difference of socioeconomic, demographic and
food intake variables between food security, food insecurity without
hunger and food insecurity with hunger groups. Logistic regression
analysis was used to analyze risk factors of food insecurity. The results
showed that there are mean difference of household head’s education and
mother’s education, household expenditure percapita, and number of
family member among food security, food insecurity without hunger and
food insecurity with hunger groups. Based on the logistic regression
analysis, main risk factors of food insecurity in this study area are staple
household expenditure percapita (OR=17.831) and number of family
member (OR=4.667).
