Penerapan Ilmu Gizi Berbasis Makanan Khas Daerah Menyehatkan dan Melestarikan Budaya Bangsa: Pembelajaran tentang Gizi, dan Kepemilikan Budaya)

Abstract. There are still many know about the health of society is "sick". This is reflected in the habit of going like want to be healthy to take medicine while the person is not sick. The still low preventive health services and promotion to the community, supported by efforts to address health issues that largely focused on the sick, resulting in the realization of activities that just want to make healthy people sick, while how to maintain healthy people stay healthy and more productive? One of the efforts to nourish people and socialize health is to improve knowledge about nutrition and health based on typical regional food through formal education at the elementary, junior and senior high school. Decision can be implemented in 18 schools (6 primary schools, 6 junior high school and 6 senior high school). Subjects were teachers, school committees, students and parents who totaled 360 people. The research was conducted with qualitative methods using interviews and questionnaires with the score 0-5. This effort is considered very important by the community because in addition to the preservation and development of national culture is also to increase knowledge of nutrition and health so that the expected future impact on the improvement of nutritional status and the community health.
