Abstracts: The purpose of this research is to understand about public participation in developing forest and land rehabilitation in Kab. Gorontalo Utara. This research is using survey methods. This method is explaining about the influence of the public participation in rehabilitation development. The samples in this research are the people of Kab. Gorontalo Utara. These samples are taken randomly. There are 30 samples and they are the representative of the public organization in Kab. Gorontalo Utara. The result of this research indicates that the public participation is in active category, it means neither internal factor nor external factor of the rehabilitation forest and land developments are running well. The analysis indicates a positive and significant relation between public participation and forest and land rehabilitation in Kab. Gorontalo Utara, it means there is an influence of public participation in developing forest and land rehabilitation.
