Abstrak: The purpose of this study is the identification and analysis of feed raw material availability and carrying capacity of local agriculture in developing small-scale animal feed mill in sub-district Randangan Pohuwato regency. The assessment carried out on several villages in the sub-district Randangan Pohuwato regency. Primary data obtained through direct surveys and interviews with several stakeholders, secondary data obtained at several government agencies. Analysis of the data includes the identification of several feed ingredients as a raw material in the manufacture of the concentrate, the analysis of animal capacities, production estimates based on the Dry Matter (DM) forage and fodder crop waste, and analysis of additional opportunities in the district livestock population ruminasia Randangan. The results obtained based on the availability of food sources in the district can be grouped Randangan the source of forage / crop waste and food / agro-industry wastes. Total production of forage / crop waste in the Sub-District Randangan is 73161.56 ton DM / year consecutively from the highest production consisted of corn straw, corn cobs, skin corn, skin cocoa, rice straw, elephant grass, soybean straw, peanut straw, sweet potato leaves, cassava leaves, green beans straw. Total production of the food / agro waste is 26.369.52 tonnes DM / year and sequentially from the highest production consists of maize, cassava, sweet potato, soybean, rice bran, peanut, bran, green beans. Capacities / carrying capacity of agricultural land in the subdistrict Randangan to ruminants (cattle) as many as 32.088 Animal Unit (AU) and additional opportunities ruminants (cows) as many as 28.282 AU.
