Abstract : Analysis of food and nutrition situation is the beginning of the
activities in food and nutrition planning. Analysis using this study design
crossectional with secondary data. Data food consumption expenditure
according to population groups in South Sulawesi from the National Socio
Economic Survey (Susenas) 2005 and 2007. Processing and data analysis would
be conducted with descriptive statistics using the software "Application Program
Planning Food and Nutrition" was developed by Heryatno, Baliwati in
2004/2005. It shows the results of data on average energy consumption of the
people of South Sulawesi is above 2000 kkal, but desirable Dietary Pattern
Score (Skor PPH) under 100. Groups occurred in food-insecure people with less
than Rp.300.000, 00.
