Abstract: The aims of this research is to study the potency and land
compatibility of plantation commodities in North Bolaang Mongondow,
according to land map scale 1 : 50.000. The research consist to six steps : 1)
compilation of base map; 2) compilation of farm-land set maps; 3) field
research; 4) analysis of soil and water samples; 5) compilation of data base of
land resources; 6) land evaluation. The results can be reported that the very
compatible land (S1 class) for the width of 35.373 Ha, the second classwas
24.781 ha (S2), the third class (marginal land) as 13.252 (S3), and N class as
87.152 ha. For clove can be planted to the land for the width of 62.48 Ha (S1
class), S2 class as a 53.848 Ha, S3 class as a 67.433 Ha, and N class as a 33.393
Ha. For Rambutan can be planted to the land for the width of 62.48 Ha (S1
class), S2 class as a 53.848 Ha, S3 class (marginal land) as a 67.433 Ha, and N
class as a 33.393 Ha.
